Frequently Asked
Questions

Which class shall I book?

All classes are suitable for beginners through to those with an established practise.
Options are given to suit fitness level and yoga experience.

Slow Flow and Morning Yoga Flow are more active classes, focusing on Flexibility, Strength, Stability, Balance and Relaxation.

Slow Down Sunday Restorative Workshops
and Deep Rest Restorative Yoga focus on Relaxation and Restoring the Nervous System.

Gentle Slow Flow is also an active class but moving at a gentle pace.
121's or Group bookings can encompass all of this and more.

If you're living with a specific injury or illness please get in contact so we can discuss.
There's lots of ways we can modify your practise or maybe there's a particular style of Yoga that would work best for you.

What do I need to bring/wear

to class?

Please bring a yoga/exercise mat to Slow Flow and Gentle Slow Flow. All other props are provided, however if you have your own you are more than welcome to bring them.

All props are provided for Slow Down Sunday Restorative Workshops and Deep Rest Restorative Yoga, including mats. I would recommend bring a small cushion and a blanket for extra comfort and support.

Please bring a yoga/exercise mat to Lace Hill Gymnastics Yoga.

Wear something comfy you can move in, layers are great, especially as your body will cool down quickly during final relaxation. Yoga is traditionally practised bare foot.

You may also want to bring a bottle of water with you.

Try and avoid eating a bit meal at least an hour before practising.

Do I need to be flexible to practise Yoga?

Simply put, no.

Flexibility is something which we improve upon and gain through our Yoga practise, so the more Yoga you do, the more flexible you can become.

Lots of students join my classes as complete beginners and limited flexibility, which improves week upon week .

I offer lots of different options in the poses so you can choose the one that works best for your body and we always start classes with a warm up which includes stretching.

What's your cancellation policy?

12 hours notice is required if you wish to reschedule or cancel a class. Where less than 12 hours notice is given, I am unable to reschedule or offer a refund.

All events and workshops are non-refundable , however with 7 days or more notice you can move your booking to a future Workshop/Event. Where less than 7 days notice is given I will endeavour to fill your space, if I can, in which case I will move your booking to a future Workshop/Event. If I am unable to fill your space you may transfer your booking to another person, please let me know if you plan on doing this.

48 hours notice is required if you wish to cancel or reschedule a 121. Where less than 48 hours notice is given, I am unable to offer a refund but will endeavour to reschedule.

Class Passes must be used within 3 months of purchase.

Can I book a private
121?

Of course. 121/Private classes are specifically tailored to meet your needs and goals, taking place in a private setting, ensuring we have the space and time to focus on you.

Whether you're looking to reduce stress, you're a beginner wanting an introduction to Yoga or are simply wanting to improve physical and mental health and wellbeing, then I'd love discuss how I can create something uniquely bespoke to you.
