What's Restorative Yoga?

Gentle Yoga in Buckingham

Restorative Yoga is a gentler, floor based practise. Using props such as bolsters, blankets and blocks, the body is fully supported in positions of comfort and ease.

Each pose is held between 10-20 minutes allowing the practise to sooth your nervous system, which can benefit you in the following ways -

  • Improves quality of sleep

  • Boosts immune system

  • Aids digestion and blood circulation

  • Release muscular tension to improve mobility and flexibility

  • Enhances your mood

  • Helps you release deeply held tension

  • Improves general overall well-being

Who's Restorative Yoga for?

Restorative Yoga is for everyone, whether you're new to Yoga or experienced

  • If you're feeling tired, stressed or burnt out

  • Wanting to press pause on your busy life and take a couple of hours just for you

  • If you're recovering from an illness
