What to expect

I'm offering two taster Yoga for Strength classes at Great Horwood Village Hall, with the aim to run a regular Thursday morning class here in the village. We’ll start with a full-body warm-up, then move into a steady flow of yoga postures, incorporating light weights and resistance bands to help build strength, improve muscle tone and support joint health - all without high intensity or strain. The class blends flowing sequences with controlled, held movements, allowing you to build strength gradually while still enjoying the calming, mindful aspects of yoga. Each session begins with pranayama (breathwork) to encourage focus and concludes with savasana (relaxation) to promote relaxation - both integral to the practice. Who's this class for - Want to get stronger but don't enjoy traditional gym workouts Have been told that you need to build strength but don't know where to start Enjoy yoga and want more challenge & progression Weights and resistance bands are provided but completely optional, you’re welcome to take part without them. Modifications are provided to accommodate various fitness levels and experience, making it beginner-friendly. Advance booking is required for all classes.

Cancellation Policy

12 hours notice is required if you wish to reschedule or cancel a class. Where less than 12 hours notice is given, I am unable to reschedule or offer a refund. Class Passes must be used within the validity period applicable to the specific pass purchased.
